Q: Why an animated leaf as a mascot for this undertaking? And why Japple™?
A: Japple™ is from the Japanese Maple tree (a tree has long been a symbol for our educational system). This particular tree hosts palm-shaped leaves, referred to at times as “baby’s hands.” Prayer often involves the hands. Sometimes folded, at times lifted in supplication, and at other times, still.
This is a call to prayer for my school, your school, all of our schools: Colleges, High Schools, Middle Schools, Elementary Schools, and Pre-K and Pre-schools. Pray for Our Schools is a belief – that prayer can heal our schools today. Place this magnet on your car (maybe near a school magnet or sticker). Yes, it asks people to pray!
